NY Times restaurant critic Frank Bruni wrote a review in yesterday's edition about an eatery near Columbus Circle whose fried chicken may well be "among the very best in town."
The restaurant? Would you believe it's a place called the Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill. Definitely sounds unconventional — here's his review.
Since I am heading up to the Big Apple this weekend, I'm half-inclined to try it out. We'll see.

If it's real gooood fried chicken you're after, try Kessler's. It's only a few miles from the Lexington (Kentucky) airport.
